FAQs
What makes your heating and air-conditioning warranties “industry-leading” compared with other Georgetown providers?
Our warranties combine extended time frames (up to 12 years on parts and compressor, and up to 10 years on labor), broad component coverage—including heat exchangers, compressors, circuit boards, and major moving parts—and zero-deductible service calls for the first five years. We also partner directly with the original equipment manufacturers, so claims are processed faster and require fewer out-of-pocket expenses for you. Very few local competitors offer both long labor protection and same-day parts replacement in writing, which is why our warranty package is considered the benchmark in Georgetown.
How long am I covered for heat repair or replacement under your warranty?
Residential systems installed by us after January 1, 2020 come with 12-year parts coverage and 10-year labor coverage when the unit is registered within 60 days of installation. For commercial projects the standard term is 5 years parts/5 years labor, with upgrade options to 10/10. If a heat exchanger fails within the coverage window, we replace the entire furnace—parts and labor—at no charge. Even outside the labor period, you still receive prorated parts discounts for up to 20 years from the installation date.
What exactly is covered—and not covered—under the warranty?
Covered: compressors, heat exchangers, blower motors, burners, ignition systems, thermostats, factory-installed coils, refrigerant lines, control boards, pressure switches, and manufacturer-approved accessories. Labor to diagnose, remove, and install these parts is also covered during the labor period. Not covered: cosmetic cabinet damage, consumables (filters, UV bulbs, humidifier pads), failures caused by power surges, flood, or improper alterations, and refrigerant after year five. Routine maintenance items such as cleaning coils or ducts are not warranty events but are available through our Comfort Club plan.
Do I need to do anything to keep my warranty valid?
Yes—two things. (1) Register the equipment serial and model numbers with us or the manufacturer within 60 days of installation (we can do it on your behalf). (2) Schedule professional preventive maintenance once every heating and once every cooling season. We document service electronically, so your warranty file stays current. Skipping annual maintenance or hiring an unlicensed contractor can void labor coverage and shorten parts coverage to 5 years, so we strongly recommend enrolling in our low-cost maintenance plan.
Can I transfer the warranty to the next homeowner if I sell my house in Georgetown?
Absolutely. Our residential warranties are fully transferable within the first 10 years at no cost. Simply notify us within 30 days of closing so we can update ownership records. The new homeowner receives the remaining parts and labor balance, which can enhance your property’s resale value. Commercial warranties are also transferable but require a modest $99 processing fee and a system inspection to confirm maintenance history.
How do I file a warranty claim, and how fast can I expect service?
Just call our dedicated warranty hotline or submit a claim through the customer portal 24/7. We confirm coverage in real time, dispatch a certified technician, and typically arrive the same day for Georgetown addresses received before 3 p.m. We stock most high-failure parts on our service vans; if a specialty component is required, we overnight it at no charge. Average system downtime under warranty is less than 24 hours, and you’ll never pay a diagnostic or trip fee while the labor warranty is in effect.
